Hi There!We are hoping to find a wonderful daytime, part-time babysitter for our 16 month old daughter (we have another two daughters, aged 8 and 11, but they'll be at school). The position would start at the beginning of April, but we're flexible to your timing if you're currently finishing up your school year at post-secondary. We live in Grand Pre NS and own a couple of businesses in Wolfville. We're looking for a lovely babysitter to come and be with our little one a couple of mornings a week, 9am-12pm, preferably Tuesdays and Thursdays, but Wednesdays and Fridays can also be considered. My husband works at our businesses and I work in my downstairs office, so I'll be onsite if any emergency happens!We are looking for someone who : - genuinely enjoys interacting positively with children, - will play, sing and read lots of books, - will come to our home but feels comfortable taking her out for walks and lots of fresh-air-playtime, - will supervise a snack time (food will be prepared by me) - has a sense of fun, but will be firm not mean when it comes to discipline, - if it's a quiet time, will sweep the floors, tidy up any toys / games and do dishes, - is reliable and honest. - will respect our family's approach to no tech around kids (no taking pictures, no scrolling social media, no tv etc)- has your own transportation (car, or we're also on a bus route if needed)We are : - a nice, hard-working young family, - not weirdos!
