The Ballard Finance Team has an opportunity for a Corporate Accountant to be a key member of its Finance Team, leading Cost Accounting activities and Fixed Asset accounting and assisting in its financial reporting requirements at the corporate head office in Burnaby. The position reports to a Manager, Finance and has the following responsibilities and requirements :
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the Costing Module in Oracle Cloud ERP
Development of product cost standards for materials, labour and indirect overhead
Performing month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and Capital Asset continuity schedules
Requirements :
The ideal candidate has demonstrated strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and must be adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and advanced Excel skills will round out the successful candidate.
The typical hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. Ballard considers many factors in determining total compensation, including the successful Candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, position location, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual short-term and long-term bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
