Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Hardware Clerk (Hunting / Fishing / Outdoor Focus) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Hardware Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following :

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
To be knowledgeable and have a passion for fishing, hunting, trapping and the outdoors
To assist guests on the sales floor with product selection in hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventure merchandise
To order, receive and stock merchandise as assigned
To have a good working understanding of the POS system
To perform day to day duties in the Food Store as assigned
To be familiar with all Lake Country Coop Policies and Procedures
Embody our values of Honesty, Innovation, Responsibility and Respect

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products :

You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience, having customer service experience in the CRS would be considered an asset

You have diversified hunting and fishing knowledge; hardware knowledge is an asset

You are capable of heavy lifting on an ongoing basis, physical labour is required

You’re well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision

You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do

Applicant must have a flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
