Job summary

Reporting to the regional director the candidate will work as a materials engineering technician. He / she will be responsible for a variety of jobs on site.

Responsibilities :

  • Confirm materials delivered to the site (aggregate concrete asphalt) according to plans and specifications;
  • Conduct field material testing according to applicable standards and procedures;
  • Prepare site technical reports using ABS softwares;
  • Perform maintenance and calibration tasks on certain equipment;
  • Write and follow up on noncompliance memos;
  • Implement H&S measures;
  • Work out of town such as Fermont James Bay or Nunavut (at your discretion only);
  • Perform any other related duties.

Profile :

  • Hold a CEA DEC BACHELOR C.TECH or comparative assessment in civil engineering;
  • Have a valid driver s licence and a car;
  • WHMIS 2015 training;
  • Good team spirit;
  • Versatile meticulous and professional.

    Principales responsabilit s

  • V rifier les mat riaux livr s au chantier (granulat b ton enrob ) en conformit avec les plans et devis;
  • Effectuer les essais li s au contr le des mat riaux en chantier selon les normes et proc dures en vigueur;
  • Pr parer des rapports techniques de chantier partir d outils informatiques;
  • Effectuer les t ches d entretien et de calibration de certains quipements;
  • R diger et effectuer le suivi des m mos de nonconformit ;
  • Appliquer les mesures de SST;
  • Travailler l ext rieur tel que Fermont BaieJames ou Nunavut ( votre discr tion seulement);
  • Effectuer toutes autres t ches connexes.

    • Profil

  • D tenir un AEC DEC BAC ou valuation comparative en g nie civil;
  • D tenir un permis de conduire valide et une voiture;
  • D tenir une carte ASP en sant et s curit (incluant la formation SIMDUT 2015 un atout);
  • Bon esprit d quipe;
  • Polyvalent rigueur et professionnalisme.
