• Shift - must be able to work shift work, as this happens when work load changes (we could also offer steady afternoons – Mon-Thurs hour shifts)
• Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining.
• Verify conformance of the detail to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, Vernier, and fixed gauges.
• Must have own tools, Micrometer up to ”, Interapid indicator, dial indicator, ” Vernier, Telescope gages, adjustable wrench, Allen wrench set Metric/standard, machinist Stone, indicating chair, edge finder.
• Recognize the functions of the specific Controller capabilities program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program.
• Must have experience and be able to m anually program Heidenhein controller - knowledge of Fanuc controllers an asset
• Input additions, deletions and changes to the machining program as instructed by the CAM department.
• Decide and ensure assigned functions can be completed on specific machines.
• Must have at least years' experience for the wage mentioned above (willing to look at candidates with less experience but wage will change)
• Custom Fabrication experience a must.
• Knowledge of GD&T an asset.
• Start as soon as possible
