You’ll step into a high-visibility position where you’ll take ownership of strengthening the financial foundation: cleaning and optimizing existing records, implementing scalable systems, and establishing best-in-class processes. Just as importantly, you’ll play a key role in building and mentoring a high-performing accounting team that can support continued expansion.
Working directly with the VP of Finance, you’ll be a trusted partner in driving strategic initiatives, improving financial visibility, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities: - Reorganize and strengthen financial records while implementing robust, scalable accounting processes.
- Navigate ambiguity with discretion, driving independent improvements across the accounting function
- Oversee and support the transition to new ERP and expense management systems
- Build and develop the accounting team, proactively identifying and recommending future hiring needs in line with company growth
- Establish and uphold strong financial controls, ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support balance sheet remediation efforts and lead or contribute to special projects as required.
Qualifications: - 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. At least 2+ years in a Controller role, or Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager ready for that next step
- CPA designation is preferred
- Experience in a multi-site environment with a strong understanding of intercompany transactions
- Strong work ethic and capability to work independently
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and NetSuite is an asset
