Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the preparation of financial reporting packages, budgets, and forecasts while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, compliance, audit support, budgeting, and process improvements across multiple entities. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights to management, and mentor junior accounting staff in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by junior team members
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and reporting packages that support business planning and executive decision-making
  • Lead financial review meetings with management and provide meaningful analysis on financial performance and operational results
  • Support annual audits by preparing working papers, coordinating required documentation, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
  • Strengthen internal controls, document accounting processes, and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and financial workflows
  • Monitor project costs against budgets, perform financial analysis, and collaborate with operations, procurement, and project teams to support business objectives
  • Maintain accurate rate tables and financial data to support forecasting, invoicing, and contract requirements
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff while contributing to special projects and organization-wide initiatives
Your strengths include:
  • CPA designation with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience working in a multi-entity environment, including financial consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
  • Experience implementing and maintaining internal controls and improving accounting processes
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with BI or financial reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet reporting deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, initiative, and commitment to continuous improvement
