WT Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (WT) is a small, privately-owned, engineering consulting firm that provides Project Management and Engineering Services for municipalities and private clients, specializing in Linear Infrastructure, Transportation, and Water & Wastewater projects. We operate as a remote-based, distributed workforce, with staff in Guelph, Kitchener, St. Thomas, and London.

Role Description

We have multiple positions available for Construction Inspectors as part of the Linear Infrastructure and Vertical Infrastructure groups. The role involves conducting site inspections, overseeing quality control measures, and monitoring construction activities. We are primarily focused on work within Southwest Ontario and are specifically looking to fill staffing roles in London and surrounding areas, as well as in the vicinity of the Town of the Blue Mountains.

We are open to considering both full-time or seasonal flexible positions, depending on the candidate and their qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in Construction Inspection and Construction Management preferred.
• Experienced with Civil AutoCAD drafting, engineering document, and drawing interpretation.
• Linear - Experience with road construction, utility infrastructure installation.
• Vertical - Experience with inspection of multiple discipline municipal infrastructure projects (pumping stations, treatment plants, reservoirs, etc.).
• Candidates with experience with topographic and total station surveying is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with members of the public and clients.
• Ability to work independently and remotely on site and from a home office.
• Access to a vehicle and G-level driver license for work purposes required.
• Relevant certification, diploma, or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
