Job DescriptionCompany located in Lachute and working in the construction field is looking for an electrician, who wants adventure and new challenges.The candidate must be available to work in Nunavut for one or more periods of 20-30 days. 60% of the work is done at our Lachute offices and 40% in Nunavut.The tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following : - Prepare lists of materials for a specific job.- Install lighting systems.- Install electrical distribution systems.- Connect pumps, etc.- Work in the industrial and / or commercial sectorPrerequisites : - Electrical Journeyman Card(Red Seal certification is considered an asset)- Health and Safety Card on construction sites.- Valid driver's license.- Good knowledge of electrical materials to prepare order lists.- Good knowledge of control systems is an asset.Job Type : Full TimeExpected Hours : 40 per week(For ONSITE work in the North, 40 hours regular time & 30 hours at 1.5 time)Schedule : - Monday to FridayRemuneration : $50.55 per hourSalary to be discussed, depending on experience.Ability to commute or relocate : - Lachute, QC J8H 3R8 : Commute without problem or plan to move before starting the position (Required)Languages : French and EnglishA good knowledge of the English language is a considerable asset because the majority of communications in Nunavut and Nunavik are in English.License / Certificate : - Driving License (Mandatory)Ability to travel for business : - 40% (Mandatory)Job Location : In personFor more information or to send your CV, contact us at [email protected]
