Position Overview :
To oversee and coordinate all support activity on the CH-149 Cormorant Cockpit Procedures Trainer and Cockpit Emulators.
What You Will Do :
- Oversee and direct all aspects including personnel of the Cormorant Training Center while reporting to the Training Development Manager;
- Responsible for conducting all aspects of course programming and delivery :
- Development of course material
- Prepare instructor notes for lessons;
- Instruct A / C systems (both theoretical and practical);
- Ensure all course material is up-to-date and current to RCAF Standards
- Liaise with 442 Sqn OTF; and
- Ensure welfare of student while on course, administration and compassionate needs;
- Analyzing training problems and recommending appropriate corrective measures
- Direct and / or assist in training development projects
- Planning future training resource requirements for the school
- Ensuring an effective standards monitoring system is maintained in the school
- Development of training quality control activities
- Ensuring the provision of servicing and maintenance of all training equipment installed and used;
- Liase with HIA training departments and other schools on training matters;
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all authorized courses to RCAF standards.
- As part of the MOB Management team replace Site Manager, Deputy Site Manager, Production Supervisor on an as required basis;
- Oversee the development of new course and training requirements IAW direction provided by the Crown;
- Oversee the development of training specifications IAW direction provided by the Crown;
- Fly or travel as necessary in support of training or operational requirements;
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and directives established by the company
