About Us :
CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to work with elementary students in Cranbrook, BC, in a home education context. This position is in person for 12 hours per week.
Rate per hour : $23 to $25
Qualifications :
- Candidates need to have good interpersonal, communication and organization skills and work independently.
- The candidate needs to be able to be kind, firm and set reasonable boundaries and stick to them.
- Preferences given to candidates with computer skills (Brightspace or willing to learn), Special Education or Tutoring experience.
- Experience working with children shall be considered an asset.
- Must reside in Cranbrook, BC area or within a one-hour driving distance
Ideal for :
College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
