For more information, follow Telesat on X and LinkedIn or visit www.telesat.comAs a Sr. Systems Engineering Network & Computer System specialist you will be expected to have expert level knowledge and expertise in all areas of large scale "Systems of Systems" inter-networking development and deployment. You will be working within the Systems Engineering group and the focus of the work is the specification of requirements for development teams to implement and review of their designs and implementations. The network is a global deployment of a multitude of satellites, various earth terminals, POPs, hubs, gateways and backbone trunks. A good knowledge of Security protocols and their implementation is essential. You will be working with system architects, RF engineers, antenna engineers, Earth Station engineers, to partition functions between hardware and software domains performing system level interface trade-offs to maximize performance. You will have experience working in a Systems Engineering environment and are familiar with the use of Systems Engineering products to facilitate the orderly progression from requirements through design, implementation, verification and deployment. You should be familiar with computer systems design and design methodologies in an Agile development environment.Responsibilities
