Reporting to: Associate Dean of Academic & Vocational Programs
Salary: | $40,789.00 – $44,268.00 annual starting wage, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement (annual increments up to a maximum salary of $ 57,000.50). Vacation entitlement is 120 hours annually (pro-rated and front-loaded from hire date for current year). We offer paid time off between Christmas and New Year's, and an excellent extended health and dental package. There is an opportunity to enroll in the College Pension Plan with contributions matched by the employer. |
Description: | NLC's Career and College Preparation program requires an instructor to deliver courses across NLC's Adult Basic Education curriculum. Subject areas include Computer Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. It is particularly important that the successful candidate be able to provide assistance to students in a multi-level, multi-disciple study-block learning environment. Teaching assignments may include a mix of on-campus and online assignments. |
