Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
As a Production Assembler, you play a key role in building advanced medical devices used in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. You assemble, inspect, and package products in a highly regulated cleanroom environment, working with precision tools and equipment to meet strict quality and production standards. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, follow detailed work instructions, and contribute directly to the creation of life‑saving technologies.
Work Environment
You work in a highly regulated, mission‑driven environment focused on the development and production of advanced medical devices. The role is based in a cleanroom setting where you follow strict procedures and work with chemicals and glues, as well as microscopes, hand tools, and production line equipment. The schedule follows a 4‑days‑on, 3‑days‑off pattern with 12‑hour shifts (approximately 6:30 . to 7:00 that include three half‑hour breaks. Shift A runs Sunday through Wednesday, and Shift B runs Wednesday through Saturday, so you must be able to work both weekdays and weekends. You collaborate closely with a respectful, trust‑based team that values precision, quality, and shared commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Follow all health and safety standards and comply with established procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure the production floor remains tidy and safe.
- Assemble products and parts according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wiring and soldering, as required.
- Carry out microscopic and cleanroom assembly processes with high precision and care.
- Finalize, label, and package products accurately for shipment, ensuring proper documentation.
- Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment in accordance with training and guidelines.
- Monitor the assembly line to ensure product quality and remove or report faulty products.
- Meet production targets with consistent speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Complete required production and quality documentation clearly and thoroughly.
- Report issues, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors or the production manager promptly.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a respectful, mission‑driven work culture.
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support production goals.
Essential Skills
- Strong hand–eye coordination and excellent attention to detail for precise assembly work.
- Comfort working 12‑hour shifts, including weekends, on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to follow procedures and protocols in a cleanroom environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation of work.
- Eligibility to work in Canada for at least 1 year.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Experience with assembly work in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with mechanical and mechanical assembly tasks.
- Experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
- Ability to perform microscope assembly and work with small components.
- Experience working on an assembly line and meeting production targets.
- Capability to perform soldering tasks as part of the assembly process.
