Responsibilities

  • Perform small-part assembly of medical devices, including fixed sheath products, in accordance with detailed written protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Follow step-by-step instructions in English to ensure accurate assembly, soldering, electronics handling, and packaging of components.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality standards and meeting daily production targets.
  • Use basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to interpret protocols and understand work instructions.
  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds repeatedly while working on designated areas of the production and packaging lines.
  • Maintain a sterile and extremely clean work area by strictly adhering to cleanliness, gowning, and contamination-control requirements.
  • Comply with all quality management system (QMS) requirements and participate in QMS training delivered via digital tools such as an iPad.
  • Shadow an assembler during initial on-the-job training, progressively taking on more independent tasks as proficiency increases.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and contribute to a strong culture of teamwork and mutual support within the assembly department.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediately report any issues or deviations from protocol.
  • Follow a strict schedule and maintain punctuality for assigned day or night shifts as required by the training and production schedule.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of small-part assembly experience, preferably in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow written protocols, SOPs, and quality documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with small components, including steady hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to interpret instructions and process documentation.
  • Capability to lift and handle 10 pounds repeatedly while working on production and packaging lines.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with strict protocols and high quality expectations.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and trainers.
  • Willingness to follow detailed instructions and adhere to a highly protocol-driven environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with soldering and basic electronics assembly in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Previous exposure to medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated, clean-room environments.
  • Familiarity with packaging processes in a production or assembly environment.
  • Comfort using digital tools such as tablets (., iPads) for training and accessing protocols.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and reach full productivity within approximately one week of training.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to support colleagues in meeting production goals.

Why Work Here?

You will join a rapidly growing organization that has expanded from a single facility to multiple locations in just a few years, reflecting strong momentum and stability. The workplace is clean, well lit, and highly focused on teamwork, offering a supportive environment where training and development are built into the onboarding process. You can participate in regular company events such as lunches, yoga classes, and wellness activities that promote health and work-life balance. Overtime opportunities are available, with enhanced pay after 40 hours and additional premium pay for qualifying weekend work, providing the chance to significantly increase your earnings while contributing to meaningful medical technology.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, well-lit, and highly protocol-driven medical device manufacturing facility with approximately 40 assemblers per department. The environment is very fast paced and strongly team oriented, with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and adherence to established procedures. Initial training must begin on the day shift for the first day, with transition to night shift starting on day two as needed. During the first week, you will complete QMS and protocol training via an iPad and then be paired with an assembler for on-the-job training and shadowing until you can independently keep up with the pace of work, typically within about one week. The standard day shift runs from 6:50 . to 5:20 ., Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off for that shift pattern.
