Stars, Stripes, and the Maple Leaf : Join our Team and Empower Canadian Armed Forces Families in the United States!The role must be fulfilled by an adult CAF family member who is posted to the local service area of Eagle River, Alaska and currently resides locally.The MFS US Community Service Provider will assist in the planning, organizing and delivery of community-based programs such as personal development, deployment, child and youth development, parenting support, community integration, and outreach initiatives. The Provider plays an important role in supporting families with navigational resources at both a local and national level.This position will establish and maintain relationships with local Chain of Command, stakeholders, and cross-function departments for operational requirements.The role also encompasses administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, creating presentations and developing reports, mass mailing distribution, and promoting activities and services to increase awareness and engagement.We are looking for diverse, dynamic, and motivated individuals to join our team!
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and LicensesHigh school diplomaANDSeveral years of experience in Office Administration

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT : This is a temporary part-time position for up to 25 hours per week.The applicant must be a CAF family member who is posted to the local service area of Eagle River, Alaska, USA and resides locally.This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost when required.The successful candidate will need to possess a bank account at a Canadian financial institution as pays are deposited to a Canadian financial institution in Canadian funds.Evening and weekend work as required.The selection process may be done virtually.Possibility of contract extension.Location : Eagle River, Alaska (JBER)
