Overview
Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position : Advanced Care Paramedic is responsible for providing accessible, responsive, and integrated patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This role complies with Manitoba Provincial Regulations, Acts, and Shared Health policies and works to support mission, vision, values, goals, objectives and policies of Shared Health.
Location : Pine Falls, Manitoba. Department / Unit : ERS-EMS. Job Stream : Non-Clinical. Union : MAHCP. FTE : 1.0. Anticipated Start Date : To Be Determined. Posting End Date : September 5, 2025. Daily Hours Worked : 12 Hour Days and Nights + OC. Anticipated Shift : Days; Nights; Weekends. Salary ranges and EFTs : see details in posting. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and ensure compassionate, high-quality health care services.
- Conduct professional, ethical behavior and align with Shared Health mission, vision, values, goals and policies.
- Direct patient care in a full-time capacity with direct clinical opportunities as part of Shared Health work environment.
Experience
Competent in an Indigenous language and / or knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
Education
Certification / Licensure / Registration
Qualifications And Skills
College of Paramedics of Manitoba Standards of Practice.
