Our transportation client is looking for  Senior Mainframe Modernization Engineer to modernize legacy applications and migrate them to AWS Cloud for a critical transformation project.

Duration - 1year

Work mode - % remote

This is a hybrid position requiring expertise in both legacy mainframe technologies and modern cloud services.

Must haves :

• Micro Focus Tools & Technologies : The candidate should have a strong grasp of legacy programming languages like COBOL , PL / I , and Natural , which are often used in mainframe environments.
• In-depth understanding of mainframe technologies and environments
• AWS Cloud Services : Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services like EC2 , S3 , RDS , and Lambda is crucial. This indicates the role might involve migrating legacy applications to the cloud, integrating them with cloud-based solutions, or managing hybrid environments.
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of application development life cycles, testing strategies, and deployment procedures.
