- Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and governance issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations through concise reports.
- Support events such as annual meetings and leaders’ conferences by managing external facilitators and maintaining event databases.
- Facilitate and deliver training sessions on governance principles, ethics, and compliance for stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing governance-related inquiries and keeping them informed of updates and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align governance strategies with organizational goals and provide ongoing support to business advisors.
Who you’ll work with :
You will report to the Manager, Retail Governance as part of a small two-person retail governance team. This welcoming group fosters a culture of forward thinking, collaboration, and open communication. You will interact often with a variety of professionals from the Co-op & External Relations team, and support General Managers, CEOs, and Boards of Directors at local Co-ops across western Canada.
