As the Senior Regional Sales Consultant you will be responsible to enhance Individual Life insurance product sales within your assigned region. You will train, coach, motivate and support various distribution channels and business units in developing plans to achieve sales targets.
How you will create impact :
Promoting a full range of Life Insurance solutions to Advisors and Managing General Agent (MGA) partners.
Providing proactive sales and business building ideas, understanding Advisor goals, and aligning their needs with our insurance solutions.
Managing sales growth and fostering positive business relationships within the defined region.
Monitoring and measuring competitive products, processes, technology, and marketing tools to fulfill the needs of Advisor clients and recommending changes to improve sales and service practices.
Participating in seminars, trade shows and meetings to enhance awareness of CUMIS Life products, including staying current with industry trends, product changes and Credit Union markets.

To join our team :
You have five years of experience in Wholesale Life insurance sales.
You have a post-secondary diploma in a related field.
You have a Life license and may hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation(s). Having the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certificate is an asset.
You have expert knowledge of the Life insurance industry, Life insurance products and advanced sales concepts.
Having a strong understanding of the Income Tax Act and working knowledge of investments, trusts, capital markets and retirement and benefits plans is an asset.

Expected Salary Range : $78,000 $130,000
- The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to : local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and / or business performance, or other business metrics
