- Day Shift 6:30AM -2:30PM with OT after 40+hours OR AFTERNOON SHIFT 2:30PM-11PM

Responsibilities
What will you be doing?

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications of tools, dies, prototypes or models
- Prepare templates and sketches, and determine work processes
- Compute dimensions and tolerances and set up machine tools
- Position, secure, measure and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools to cut, turn, mill, plane, drill, bore or grind
- Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) and electronic measuring devices
- Fit and assemble or disassemble parts using hand tools

Qualifications
What you will need to bring?

Expectations:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a tooling Maintenance position is required
- Direct experience in a welding/stamping facility is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and operate tool room machines
- Ability to read engineering drawings and knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment both within a team or independently
- Certifications: Licensed Tool and Die Maker Certificate Ontario/Red Seal (430A) is preferred
