Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Operator/Programmer role based in Brampton, ON. The CNC Operator/Programmer sets up, programs, and operates CNC machinery to produce mould components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, creating or adjusting CNC programs, performing machine setups and changeovers, and monitoring machining operations to ensure accurate dimensions and surface finishes. The role involves inspecting parts using measuring tools, performing routine machine maintenance, and documenting production activities and quality checks. The CNC Operator/Programmer collaborates with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot machining issues, optimize cycle times, and maintain a safe, organized work area. Qualifications - Strong skills in Machine Operation, including setting up and running CNC equipment safely and efficiently. - Experience with Machining and Milling processes for precision components in a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including dimensional inspection and use of measuring instruments. - Familiarity with working around industrial Machinery and adherence to safety standards and procedures. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CNC programming documentation. - Previous experience as a CNC operator or programmer in mould making, tooling, or related fields is an asset. - Diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship in machining, CNC technology, or a related trade is preferred. - Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to work on-site in Brampton, ON and to adapt to production schedules and priorities.
