TRITAN Group has partnered with leading Alberta manufacturing plants to find a skilled and experienced Electromechanical Millwright to join their team in Edmonton. The Electromechanical Millwright reports to the Maintenance Manager and works on the shop floor to maintain plant machinery and facilities and improve business. The individual is responsible for successfully completing assignments on time.

Roles and responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of fabrication, repair, servicing, troubleshooting and rebuilds.
• Manage the layout and placement of equipment and machinery to ensure minimum downtime.
• Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn-out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts
• Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
• Install and troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and programmable logic controls; replace electrical components
• Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
• Complete special projects as needed
• Communicate maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and implement correction actions as required.
• Available after hours to perform services as needed and agreed upon with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
