TIRE FITTER

We are looking for a Tire Fitter to join our Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team in Salmo. POSITION BENEFITS

  • 4 on/4 off rotation with 11 hour day shifts. No night shifts!
  • Starting wage of $18-20 per hour
  • Direct deposit pay, twice monthly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform tire removal, installation, and repairs for all OTR vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installing repaired or replacement tires and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
  • Follow work order procedures and communicate with Lead Hand re the work that is required
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

As a member of the Summit Truck and Equipment Repair team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Team player who is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract
  • Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
  • Committed to safe work practices
  • Exemplary customer service skills
