Agent(e) de contrôle documentaire - Chantier de construction (McIlvenna Bay)

Sommaire des responsabilités

Sous la supervision de la Cheffe du département de Contrôle documentaire, l'agent de contrôle documentaire de chantier supportera l’équipe de construction au site en assurant une gestion efficace de la documentation du projet. Plus précisément, il sera appelé à :

• Maintenir, mettre à jour et distribuer les documents du projet aux parties prenantes internes et externes;
• Assurer le contrôle de la qualité des documents et leur conformité aux normes du projet;
• Gérer la réception, le suivi et le contrôle des documents provenant des fournisseurs et de l’équipe d’ingénierie;
• Surveiller les délais de traitement des documents et intervenir de manière proactive en cas de retard;
• Soutenir les aspects liés aux documents dans les processus d’approvisionnement et d’appel d’offres;
• Imprimer, organiser, classer et archiver les plans d’ingénierie et les dossiers du projet;
• Générer des rapports sur l’état d’avancement du flux de travail, des livrables et de la documentation des fournisseurs;
• Former les membres de l’équipe à utiliser le système de gestion des documents (M-Files).

Qualifications

• Formation postsecondaire dans un domaine pertinent;
• Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en ingénierie ou en administration de bureau;
• Une expérience sur le terrain dans l’industrie minière ou de la construction est un atout;
• Maîtrise de l’anglais parlé et écrit, le français est un atout.

Aptitudes recherchées

• Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et capacité à apprendre rapidement de nouveaux systèmes de gestion documentaire;
• Excellente attention aux détails et fortes compétences organisationnelles;
• Aptitudes démontrées en communication avec la capacité d’établir et de maintenir des relations de travail efficaces;
• Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique et à gérer un volume élevé de tâches avec précision;
• Approche proactive, débrouillarde et professionnelle au travail.

Informations supplémentaires

• Date de début : Avril 2025;
• Date de fin : la fin des travaux de construction est estimée en décembre 2025, possibilité de prolongation pour la mise en service et / ou de poursuite avec G Mining pour de futurs projets;
• Le poste est basé au chantier situé en Saskatchewan. McIlvenna Bay est situé à 1 km au sud de Hanson Lake et à approximativement 95 km à l’ouest de Flin Flon, Manitoba, par la route;
• Horaire de rotations fly-in fly-out 14-14;
• 10 heures de travail par jour;
• Possibilité d'indemnité de déplacement en fonction de votre lieu de résidence;

The work will be conducted for the McIlvenna Bay project located in east-central Saskatchewan , Canada, one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world. The McIlvenna Bay project, with significant and evolving mineral reserves, is set to become the world’s first carbon-neutral copper mine.

In order to ensure the completion of this large-scale project, G Mining Services is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to :

Document Control Agent – Construction Site (McIlvenna Bay)

Summary of responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead of the Document Control department, the Field Document Control Agent will support the site construction team by ensuring efficient management of project documentation. More specifically, he will be called upon to :

• Provide supervision at the construction / mine site for the project under construction;
• Perform tests and interpret results to validate compliance;
• Specify and select the electrical equipment required for installation on site;
• Plan and coordinate the work of the electricians;
• Coordinate the progress of the detailed engineering with the various projec
• Maintain, update, and distribute project documents to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure document quality control and compliance with project standards.
• Manage the receipt, tracking, and follow-up of documents from suppliers and the engineering team.
• Monitor document processing timelines and address delays proactively.
• Support document-related aspects of the supply chain and tender processes.
• Print, organize, classify, and archive engineering plans and project records.
• Generate reports on workflow status, deliverable progress, and supplier documentation.
• Train team members on the document management system (M-Files).

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering or office administration.
• Field experience in the mining or construction industry is an asset.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

Additional Information

• Beginning of contract : April 2025.
• End of contract : Estimated in December 2025, possibility of extension according to the project needs.
• Position available at the mine site; McIlvenna Bay is located 1 km south of Hanson Lake, Saskatchewan, and approximately 95 km by road west of Flin Flon, Manitoba.
• Schedule is 14-14 rotation (2 weeks on site followed by 2 weeks off), 10 hours of work per day.
