Job Description :

This Assistant Controller role involves managing full-cycle accounting for two small entities, providing a dynamic and rewarding challenge for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities :

Full accounting responsibilities for 2 small entities
Supporting full monthly cycle close : Journal Entries, Fixed Assets, Cash reconciliations
Provisioning & Payments for the school (A / P), including Intercompany transactions
Supervision of billing & revenue recognition per Group rules, with an A / R specialist
Coordination with Regional finance team as needed
Coordination with external suppliers to support the A / P process
Balance sheet review and reconciliation
Cash Flow and Capex
Finance Business Partnering
Financial Planning & Budgeting

Job Requirements : Qualifications :

5+ controlling experience preferred.

3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.

Prior school or education industry accounting experience is a plus.

Ability to produce and present financial modeling and budgeting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to present financial findings and recommendations to non-financial audiences.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
