Creative Door Services, North America’s largest overhead door dealer, operates nine branches across Western Canada and we have over 50 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. We provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators and associated controls.

Role :

We have an immediate opening for a Garage Door Installer Helper located in the Vancouver branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the helper will work as part of a two-person crew, this position will assist in the service and / or installation of residential or commercial doors while learning on the job from the Garage Door Technician. This role is a permanent, full time position with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain a professional demeanor
• Focus on quality workmanship
• Championing safety standards
• Providing superior customer service
• Working with hand tools, electric tools and ladders
• Regular interaction with warehouse staff, construction Project Managers, customers other trades and safety personnel
• Taking direction from Garage Door Technician and providing support
• Actively participating in learning the trade
• General warehouse duties
• Being on-call
• Other duties, as assigned
