Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is currently seeking a new member to join our Maintenance Team. We are on the look out for a diligent Maintenance Technician that keeps service excellence top of mind. Reporting to the Manager of Facilities, the successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for working with your hands, and the drive to solve mechanical problems. Duties & Responsibilities :

Inspecting of facilities for safety hazards; repairing and maintaining as necessary
Maintaining and repairing equipment, property, and general building and preventative maintenance
Maintaining HVAC systems, including inspections, repairs, tests, etc.
Removing and replacing expired lighting and other equipment throughout the interior and exterior of the facility
Pressure Washing Exterior of Facility
Completing all work orders, as assigned
Maintaining a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional guest service at all points of contact
Communicate effectively with management at all levels
Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Qualifications :

Previous experience in a maintenance role required

A good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, general facility repairs

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Possess a valid drivers license

Availability to work all shifts including graveyards, weekends and holidays

Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced, busy environment

Must have a commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests

A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development

Serving It Right certificate required
