The Position Casino Rama Security prides itself on the proven ability of creating a strong culture of customer service and team work here at Casino Rama. • Know the Company Vision Statement and understand the four Core Values
• Responsible for all aspects of Casino Security : including protection of Casino assets, safety of customers and employees, compliance with Internal Control procedures and legal implications of the Gaming Control Act, Liquor License Act, Trespass to Property Act
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the Casino, Hotel and Parking Lots
• Provide information and directions requested by patrons, employees
• Act in a fair and professional manner
• Prepare detailed documentation of significant activities (notebooks, statements, reports, etc)
• Legally detain for probable cause, those persons that may be involved in illegal acts and for the purpose of notifying law enforcement authorities
• Provide emergency medical assistance to guests and employees
• Smile and be courteous

What You’ll Require

Post-secondary education in Law & Security or equivalent is an asset

Concert Security or Casino Security experience is preferred

Must be able to pass and maintain First Aid and CPR certification

Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and provide a clean, 3 year Driver’s Abstract annually

Must be flexible and prepared to change shifts and days off

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Proven problem solving abilities

Must be able to deliver exceptional Customer Service at all times

Possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

Proven ability to be a team player

Must be able to make effective judgments and decisions

Team player with the ability to follow directions

French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset

Comply with the duties of workers or supervisors, as prescribed by Section 27 or 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Comply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols

Demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workers
