True North Log & Timber Homes has grown to become a major supplier of log homes throughout North America and has delivered homes to many locations in Europe and Asia. We work with an extensive international dealer network, and a centralized sales force working from Bracebridge, Ontario.

Job description

Reporting to the Manager of Sales and Business Development, we are looking to add a proven sales professional to our growing team in the role of Sales and Design Consultant (Outside Sales Representative), based out of our Head Office in Bracebridge, Ontario. Sales & Design Consultant (Outside Sales Representative)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assists clients through the designing, purchasing, manufacturing, and delivery of their new dream log & timber home.
  • Works closely with all departments, as necessary, to clearly communicate a customer’s vision and requirements for their log home; collaborating especially closely with our internationally award-winning design team.
  • Prospects new and existing sales opportunities through phone, email, video conferencing and in-person meetings.
  • Maintains accurate records and customer data in our Company CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Prepares annual budgets that include revenue targets potential (Pipeline Management).
  • Provides regular updates / forecasts for sales on a quarterly basis.
  • Formulates short and long-term customer plans to achieve sales objectives by ensuring the sales funnel is adequate.
  • Answers inbound calls and responds to all customer inquiries and effectively follows up with clients and prospective clients by utilizing established sales processes to communicate with customers by email and phone.
  • Meets customer ‘walk-ins’ to our Head Office / Model Home – answering their questions and engaging them in the sales process
  • Schedules, logs, and confirms appointments with customers and achieves daily / weekly / monthly goals as assigned by the TNLH “Customer First Initiative”
  • Ensures the highest level of care and support for customers throughout and after completion of their project – handles any queries / complaints in a timely and professional manner and escalates to Management when required
  • Travels throughout North America to exhibit at industry specific trade shows to demonstrate our patented industry leading log home system
  • Presents to 50+ prospective clients at our Factory Tours with a high level of confidence and professionalism.

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Architecture, Construction, Real Estate, or a related field considered an asset but not required.
  • Proven sales experience in a similar role – preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Must have a Valid G Class Drivers License and Passport.
  • Technical Construction knowledge required to understand the market and products, however full training will be provided.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective sales techniques and a ‘hunter’ sales mindset : with proven success in a sales environment with both warm and cold leads.
  • Self-motivated and willing to tackle challenges head on with a positive attitude.
  • Must be an exceptional ambassador for the True North Log & Timber Homes brand while speaking at trade shows and other events.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. and experience with HubSpot CRM.
  • Must be willing and able to travel and stay overnight in Hotels to attend trade shows throughout North America.

    100% Commission Pay : $60,000.00-$500,000.00 per year based on your Sales Performance with no cap.
