Our client is a staff focused, growing mechanical contractor that specializes in high-rise residential and mixed-use tower projects throughout the Vancouver Lower Mainland. With consistent growth over the past decade, they're now taking on major builds and are helping to sculpt the skyline in the Greater Vancouver area.
They’re looking to add a strong Plumbing Foreman to their team—someone who thrives in fast-paced site environments and knows how to lead from the front. Must Haves
- Red Seal Journeyman Plumbing license or equivalent journeyman experience
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience on commercial or multi-unit residential projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews and coordinate subcontractors
- Proven experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specs
- Ability to manage scope, materials, labor, and timelines effectively
- Experience mentoring apprentices and junior trades
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection and working with pre-fab teams
- Background in water / wastewater, civil, or municipal infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with construction scheduling tools or digital reporting systems
- Experience with estimation and performing material take offs
- Supervise plumbing crews from mobilization through turnover on high-rise and mixed-use developments
- Ensure work is completed to code, to spec, and on schedule
- Lead daily site planning and toolbox talks
- Coordinate with general contractor site teams and other trades
- Track progress, material needs, and subcontractor performance
- Identify and resolve issues before they impact schedule or budget
- Implement and maintain safety protocols on site
- Review and action meeting minutes and field directives
- Collaborate with the BIM and pre-fab teams for seamless installation
- Represent the company professionally on-site and at client meetings
- Above market base wage
