Occupational Therapist
Location : Northern Ontario
Rate : $65 / hr
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their healthcare team in Northern Ontario . This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across multiple care settings, including outpatients, acute care, complex continuing care inpatients, and long-term care.
About the Role
The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans to support patients in regaining independence and improving their quality of life. The role requires adaptability and strong clinical judgment to provide care across multiple healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient, acute care, complex continuing care, and long-term care settings.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation strategies and adaptive techniques.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
