The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Keethanow Group of Businesses is now accepting applications to fill the following Full-Time position based at the Keethanow Gas Bar in La Ronge, SK :

FINANCE CLERK

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties :

Organize filing of all appropriate documents (POs, Vendor files, etc.).
Prepare general ledger and post journal entries and trial balance;
Manage accounts receivable and payable;
Assisting with preparations of financial statements and bank reconciliations;
Invoice clients and answer inquiries;
Perform monthly A / P processing, reporting and quality assurance functions;
Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record system;
Perform other duties as assigned;
Carry out other work-related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor;
Maintain positive public relations on behalf of Keethanow Group of Businesses;
Follow and adhere to the Keethanow Group of Businesses Personnel Policy Manual.

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications :

High School / Grade 12 or GED; College diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field will be an asset;

1-2 years' experience in Finance industry;

Experience with accounting and reporting systems;

Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);

Advanced proficiency with SAGE300 accounting software and spreadsheet programs and applications is an asset;

Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy;

Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key stakeholders

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite;

Knowledge and experience with office equipment such as photocopiers, telephone system, email and fax machines;

Must be bondable;

Punctual, honest, and reliable;

Valid Class 5 Driver's License;

Must be able to work with minimal supervision;

Able to manage time efficiently and effectively;

Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check.
