Description de posteTeaches and executes creation of merchandise displays that align to the company direction that promote cross-merchandising, scalable in size as space permits in the predetermined location; Communicates weekly specials to Departmental team members and follows up on all merchandising priority notes to ensure AD compliance and effective execution; Ensures proper execution of Company programs, ., new product rollouts, category resets, merchandising plans, CGO and other replenishment tactics; Reports relevant findings on weekly competition and store visits; Recruits, aids in selection of, orientates, trains, coaches, and develops the best Department Managers to achieve store goals and ensure that the company has leadership talent; Cultivates a culture of high performance and accountability and sets clear performance expectations for Department Managers; Embraces positive employee relations through consistent and fair application of company policies and leadership values; Provides advice and assistance to store teams to enable completion of responsibilities; Maintains a positive work environment and ensures fair and consistent treatment of all team members and customers; Leads by example on the importance of Customer Service excellence and always engages with customers; Develops tactics and recommendations to have friendly employees and clean stores; Proven leadership and ability to motivate inspire and create engagement; Exemplifies the desired culture, values and philosophies of the organization; Effectively copes with change and leads company change initiatives across the district; Able to see things in broad / strategic perspective, see trends and future consequences. Develops improvement plans and programs with store leadership, Regional Department Director and District Manager to ensure stores meet objectives; Provides translation of communication between Store Support Center and store teams; Implements policies and procedures; Able to make recommendations to effectively resolve challenges or concerns, by using sound judgment that is consistent with company standards, practices, policies, procedures, applicable government regulation or law; Seeks to make decisions in a manner consistent with the job functions; Shared responsibility for P&L results and performance analysis; Supports programs to control shrink and contain costs at an acceptable level; Reviews Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) with district team (Department Team Leaders); Ability to read, understand, analyze and instruct store teams about income and financial statements; and calculating gross margins and productivity measures; Monitors operational standards and programs and follows up on operating performance of each store and store team leader to ensure that all stores meet sales, expense, gross profit and managerial profit contribution and EBITDA objectives; Analyzes financial data and determine areas of opportunity as well as plans for remediating performance gaps; Reviews programs prepared by Merchandising and recommends adjustments to meet local conditions; Ensures timely and complete execution of company merchandising and promotion initiatives; Works with store leadership to promote safety and ZERO accident culture; 5+ years' experience in a progressive operations role including managing different sales volume departments; Confident working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and exhibit excellent multi-tasking skills; Possess the ability to articulate the complexity of business needs and the capability to build / develop practical action plans based upon those needs; Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills are required; Solid ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems on issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or applicable government law; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Able to prepare effective written reports, correspondences, and presentations to management as required; Proficient computer skills in the areas of e-mail, Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, required; Effective planning, prioritization, and time management skills with effective ability to follow-up on delegated assignments; Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the Departmental Director. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls. Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud. Able to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations as required. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY :
The Field Merchandiser oversees merchandising initiatives and departmental practices, providing leadership and training to achieve profitable operation of the Bakery departments within the assigned district. The Field Merchandiser ensures that strategic operational goals are achieved and a positive environment. The Field Merchandiser is responsible for the development of all indirect reports, to include department team leaders and all department store team members. The individual is expected to be a role model of the company by driving results while maintaining company core values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
