Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a General Kitchen Help to join our dynamic team. This position is a contract role. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to participate in the food preparation for our consumers.

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) :

• Responds to customers’ requests in a friendly and efficient manner
• Suggest products, combos or sizes appropriately
• Resolves customers concerns and complaints in a friendly manner
• Communicates showcase needs to the baker and helps merchandise the product
• Keeps the front counter clean, organized and stocked
• Follows Tim Hortons, Subway and Sodexo standards and guidelines when preparing product for customers
• Preps soup, bagels, etc.
• Prepares coffee, beverages and food according to Tims’, Subway and Sodexo standards
• Records temperatures of food and equipment as required
• Completes audits and checklists as required
• Completes training modules online as required
• Participates in regular safety training, meetings and hazard assessments
• Comply with all HACCP policies and procedures

Qualifications

You are an experienced Kitchen General Helper who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.

QUQUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) :

• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
• Must possess sufficient practical experience to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the Position.
• Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 Lbs.
• Physically fit to perform all aspects of the job.
• Valid Food Handler Certification
• Fully vaccinated according to hospital requirements
• Must pass a criminal reference check
• Tim Horton’s experience is an asset
