The Opportunity :

To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Electrical Drafter to join our National Electrical Team, located in Ontario - ideally in one of our offices located in Thornhill, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Toronto, Kitchener or Ottawa.
Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible to provide design, drafting and modelling capabilities to the Transmission and Distribution design team. The Transmission and Distribution Team services utility clients in the power distribution and transmission, transportation and transit, buildings, along with other institutional and government clients. You will apply your electrical design and drafting knowledge to electrical project work from conceptual design through completion. Technical quality, cost effectiveness, and team working attitude are integral parts of this role. The ideal candidate will have electrical drafting experience with an ability to work with minimal supervision, from early stages of a project to the final designs certified for construction and be able organized and able to manage multiple competing deadlines.
