Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree / formal training and / or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Industrial Education Teacher (Metalwork, Auto Technology, Power Technology) - Grades 8-12 (POSTING NUMBER T2425-089 - Round 4) 1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 3, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process. Must have a degree / formal training and or teaching experience at the Secondary level. Must have a degree / formal training and or teaching experience in Metalwork. Must have a Red Seal in an applicable area, or a Diploma in the Technology Teacher Education Program, or the equivalent. This position is tentatively scheduled to include Metalwork 8-12, Auto Technology 11-12 and Power Technology 8-9 classes. Please note that all work will be on site.
