Opportunity
Working within the Technology Delivery team, the Quality Assurance Analyst II participates in testing activities across our lines of business to ensure solutions achieve the functional and operational requirements defined by stakeholders. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams in our processing switch test environment. You will participate in project meetings, analyze requirements, create test plans and test scripts, and execute cases using simulators and physical payment devices. You will document and report defects and observations to the project teams.
Responsibilities
- You will work with QA, BA, and Development resources to familiarize yourself with our lines of business, test processing environment, testing tools / web-based apps, and QA processes.
- You will participate in project meetings, analyze documentation and work with others on the Quality Assurance and Development teams to derive test strategies / plans / cases for assigned projects.
- You will execute test plans using our simulators and / or physical devices (ATM and / or POS devices).
- You will actively report / manage defects and observations to the project teams.
- Identify the risks / impacts around defects / observations.
- You will write, maintain and update QA documentation as required. This can include updating test plans and scripts, recording test results or creating training documents.
- You will assist in identifying opportunities to further integrate test Automation into our Quality Assurance processes.
- You will participate in retrospectives when projects are completed to provide feedback from the Quality Assurance perspective on what worked well with the project and what could be improved for future projects
