We are seeking driven, professional & energetic candidates to join our Residential Operations team for the position of Assistant Resident Manager located at our properties located in Sarnia, Ontario.

As an Assistant Resident Manager, you’ll be an important part of keeping our residential communities clean, safe, and welcoming.

Working as part of the Residential Operations team, you’ll support day-to-day building operations through resident service, administrative support, cleaning, minor maintenance, and follow-up with current and prospective tenants.

If you enjoy helping people, taking pride in your surroundings, and being hands-on in your work, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the everyday lives of our residents while representing Skyline’s commitment to service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing Assist with day-to-day building operations, including cleaning common areas, completing assigned general maintenance tasks, and helping keep the property safe, clean, and welcoming.

Support resident satisfaction by responding to tenant questions, concerns, and service requests with professionalism, timeliness, and care.

Assist with leasing activities by responding to rental inquiries, welcoming prospective residents, conducting unit showings, and providing information on available rental opportunities.

Maintain accurate records and complete administrative duties such as logbooks, applications, leases, inspections, emails, filing, rent-related documentation, and regulatory compliance records as required.

Help with apartment turnover by supporting move-in and move-out inspections, suite cleaning, and minor repairs or painting as required.

Assist with exterior property upkeep, including garbage removal, groundskeeping, flower beds, snow clearing, salting, and seasonal maintenance tasks.

What You Bring A strong customer service mindset and a genuine desire to create positive experiences for residents and prospective tenants.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, build rapport, and respond respectfully to concerns or disputes.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.

A hands-on, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently, show good judgment, and problem solve effectively.

Previous experience in residential property management, customer service, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field is considered an asset.
