Job Summary

The Sr. Associate Sales Support Consultant will support with various tasks related to regional activities, processes, initiatives, and issues impacting retail and institutional customers. The Sr. Associate Sales Support Consultant will work with various internal teams to help implement operational solutions and will support the Sales teams in ensuring a positive customer experience

Specific Responsibilities

  • Assists the development and implementation of tactical approaches to customer-impacting events and activities, such as service disruptions, operational outages, strategic initiatives, and business process optimizations. Focuses on enhancing the customer experience.
  • Supports sales operations for regional distribution activities, initiatives, or issues that may affect customers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to help define communication needs and assists Sales leaders in external execution.
  • Assists in resolving customer issues efficiently to help the sales team operate more effectively and strengthen distribution partnerships.
  • Coordinates with the sales team to support business development and retention activities. Helps in organizing regional activities to enable efficient sales operations and growth. Assists in assessing results and implementing improvements.
  • Manages tasks in a fast-paced environment, addressing both proactive initiatives and reactive events.
  • Contributes to creative solutions for issues and supports project alignment and prioritization.
  • Supports the measurement, analysis, and reporting on regional initiatives' performance. Monitors metrics and aids in adjusting to maximize impact and effectiveness as needed.

  • Supports project management activities with effective prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Ensures work is completed accurately and maintains a high level of quality in all tasks.
  • Engages in creative thinking and is open to learning new methods and approaches.
  • Builds positive relationships with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Embraces a mindset of continuous improvement and seeks opportunities to contribute to team goals.
  • Position Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of distribution and retail pharmacy operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with McKesson systems (Salesforce, MBA, AS400, data cubes) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and develop cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational, planning, and time management skills. Focused on results, detail-oriented, with basic problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus on key deliverables.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset but not required. (Depending on the region)
  • Limited travel requirements.
