Pythagoras Academy is currently seeking an experienced Success Centre Teacher starting August 28th, 2024.
Job Description
Pythagoras Academy is an exceptional co-educational independent school for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and create student learning that incorporate BC Curriculums objectives, including STEM and design thinking;
- Assess student learning using formative and summative methods, incorporating feedback, student reflection and formal reporting, to grow and develop skills;
- Be the touchstone for parents, students and teachers;
- Personalize learning opportunities for students;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of integrated lessons and units;
- Maintain appropriate standards of behaviour, mutual respect, and safety within the classroom;
- Incorporate appropriate technology use;
- Integrate social responsibility and kindness into daily teaching and routines;

Compensation : Pythagoras Academy teaching salaries are 5% above Richmond School Board salaries.
