Position : Industrial Arts TeacherLocation : Frontier Mosakahiken SchoolStart Date : September 3, 2024FTE : 1.00 FTE Term of Employment : PermanentApplication Deadline : Open Until Filled The Division provides a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, transportation and moving expense reimbursement, subsidized housing or housing allowance and isolation allowance in qualifying communities, annual travel reimbursement, reimbursement for approved courses and more! Frontier Mosakahiken School is a Nursery to Grade 12 school with approximately 470 students. The school is located in Moose Lake which is 100 km east of The Pas, Manitoba (a full service community) and is accessible by road. This lakeside community’s natural beauty provides for an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities. Qualifications : Bachelor of Education Degree, Diploma in Industrial Arts / Technology Teacher Education Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate Previous Industrial Arts teaching / industry experience preferred A sound knowledge of provincial Industrial Arts curricula Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life Strong classroom management skills Experience working in a northern community A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn Self-motivated Applicants are required to submit the following : cover letter current resume list of three professional references including email addresses and contact numbers, all of whom must have knowledge of the applicant’s performance in the applicant’s current or recent assignment Thank you for your interest; however,
