Hudson College is a co-ed, JK–Grade 12 private school located in Toronto’s St. Clair West. With 440 students, we believe in one thing above all : be yourself. Our friendly community celebrates individual strengths, sparks curiosity, and supports everyone’s personal goals.
The Role
As part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking for a full-time Art Teacher for our Upper School , starting on September 2, 2025 .
This Job Is Perfect for You If You…
- Value Small Classes : You prefer teaching in intimate classes with few behavioural challenges, giving you the time and space to connect with each learner’s unique artistic voice and provide tailored, inspiring support.
- Crave Professional Growth : You’re eager to refine your pedagogy, launch fresh new arts initiatives, or explore new ways to engage your students—goals that can be tough to achieve when managing large classes or facing red tape.
- Appreciate Classroom Autonomy : You enjoy the freedom to design creative lessons, experiment with bold ideas, and lead innovative projects.
- Value a Peaceful, Respectful Learning Environment : You want to teach in a setting where high school students bring genuine enthusiasm and respect, and any issues are handled quickly.
- Love Teamwork : You enjoy collaborating with colleagues across grade levels and subjects to create a cohesive educational experience while supporting one another professionally.
- Seek Work-Life Balance
- Don’t Want to Fit a Specific Mold : You want to be part of a down-to-earth school that values diversity and individuality.
If the above describes what you’re looking for and you have the following qualifications, you should apply!
