Company Overview:

PTW is a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation services in Fort McMurray. We hire skilled tradespeople who value safety, quality, and career growth.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Fort McMurray. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
  • Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Rate: $47.5/h
  • Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off - 12 hours per day
  • Travel: Flight provided from Calgary or Edmonton
  • Accommodations: Camp
  • Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
