Position Summary : The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care based on feedback received during consultations or file reviews.

What You'll Do :

  • Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Establish and develop relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
  • Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
  • Follow Walmart's SOPs and best practices.
  • Operate pharmacy equipment and maintain patient privacy according to provincial regulations.
  • Provide eligible patient services such as medication reviews and injections.
  • Ensure pharmacy is open during posted hours and assist in executing the business plan with the Pharmacy Manager.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Age 16 or older
  • Pharmacist License (secondary permit in Alberta : CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)

    • Preferred Qualifications : Walmart will accommodate disability-related needs as required by law.
