Position Summary
The Simcoe Muskoka Regional Eating Disorder Program provides evidence-based manualized treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and OSFED to patients under the age of 25. This regionalized program offers equitable access to collaborative and standardized care of eating disorders at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital.
The psychologist’s role will primarily include clinical consultation to the Eating Disorder Team on complex patients, as well as tracking program fidelity and other patient outcomes.
Education :
- Graduate from a CPA / APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario is mandatory. Autonomous practice is preferred.
- Authorized area of practice in Clinical Psychology is mandatory.
- Authorized client population in children, adolescents, family, and adults is preferred (some combination of authorization with the various populations listed above will be considered).

Unless otherwise stated applicants must have a minimum educational requirement of Grade 12 or equivalent and must demonstrate proven workplace excellence through commitment to strong job performance and attendance.

Therefore, depending on the program for which you are applying, it may be an expectation that you are available to work week days and weekends, as well as all shifts - days, evenings, and nights.
