We are committed to participate in the ecological transition and to develop the means of transportation of the future that are safe and durable. Context : To strengthen the IKOS team in Canada we are looking for Railway System Engineer to work on large-scale railway projects.Responsibilities : Develop system, subsystem, and interface requirements by analyzing customer and train control domain needs.Apply systems engineering principles to support system architectures, update processes, and ensure alignment with industry standards.Assess the impact of design changes on system requirements and interfaces, ensuring traceability and compliance.Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve system integration challenges and support field testing activities.Define and update processes and standards based on systems engineering principles.Ensure safety is built into designs by identifying and resolving safety defects early.Utilize tools like DOORS to track, verify, and validate system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Identify, document, and manage system interfaces across subsystems, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Systems, Electrical, Industrial, etc.), Computer Science, or a related technical engineering field.Experience in requirements management and system development lifecycle.Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and the system development life cycle.Experience with tools like DOORS and other similar software.Knowledge of railway systems engineering principles.Excellent technical writing and communication skills.Get on the right Track!
