The role

As a Senior Analyst / Lawyer , you will lead risk-based supervision and projects, reviewing the sector to ensure adherence with the law.

You will be responsible for :

• Analysing regulatory issues and identifying and proposing solutions to achieve appropriate consumer and market outcomes.
• Leading and identifying new ways to utilise data to deliver priorities, including effective data collection, management and analysis, as well as communication of insights from data.
• Collaborating with the Sector Leadership team in the development of sector strategy and priorities.
• Leading and managing sector engagement initiatives alongside and in collaboration with other team members.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively deliver the sector strategy.

About you

With your demonstrated experience working on complex matters or projects requiring critical thinking and judgement, you will have the technical expertise and specialist skills to assist ASIC in providing solutions on highly complex regulatory issues and achieve impactful outcomes. Your experience includes excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop strategic stakeholder relationships.
