Overview
Arrow workforce solutions is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service, possess excellent driving skills, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. This position requires the ability to navigate various routes while ensuring timely deliveries.
Pay rate : $22.95 / hr
Timings : 8 : 30am-5pm
Shift : Mon-Fri
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Making delivery within the city and assisting in the warehouse to pick & pack products when they’re not driving and delivering product.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Handle freight with care, ensuring that items are delivered in good condition.
- Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed during loading and unloading processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.
