Position Description / Summary :

Provides home visiting services for parents who are active with Child & Family Services. Parent Aides teach basic living and parenting skill in the home setting in addition to connecting families with various community resources and supports. Parent Aides must be flexible to work weekends and evenings in order to maintain consistent service delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities :

The Parent Aide is responsible for providing direct client services that promote the functioning and wellbeing of the client. This service includes providing parent aide services, parent education, required transportation and mentoring.

• Provide direct client services as directed by the CFS worker
• Complete appropriate documentation for services provided including service reports and billing.
• Assist clients in meeting safety plan goals set by the family.
• Communicate with case workers regarding client progress.
• Verify authorization for services provided.
• Build winning relationships with clients.
• Ability to use technology to communicate effectively.
• Ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines consistently.
